International Bachelor's Degree

The Bachelor´s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management programme is addressed to candidates who have succesfully completed High School studies and its final aim is to train future professionals in operational management in any hotel department. The duration of the programme is 3 years.

The curriculum prepares students to develop the management skills, abilities, and knowledge necessary to improve employability and career prospects in the hospitality and tourism sector.

ACADEMIC PROGRESSION

 

After getting a Bachelor´s Degree, a Master’s degree is the most common type of postgraduate qualification, and involves a more in-depth level of study than a Bachelor’s degree. They’re designed to focus on a specific area of a wider subject. They can either be taught or research based courses. It’s classed as a level 7 qualification.

STUDENT PROFILE AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The knowledge accredited through the official access routes provided will be required. However, we also recommend that the student has the following skills:

  • Leadership and management skills
  • Organisation and responsibility
  • The ability to delegate and deliver directions
  • An aptitude mathematical calculation and analysis
  • Ease of written and communication skills
  • Dynamism and creativity.

 

ADMISSION

To participate in the OTHM Level 4 Campus IVT Diploma course you will need to show evidence that you have achieved the following:

  • 18 years of age (minimum entry age).
  • 12 years of schooling
  • 2 A levels in a passing grade or relevant work experience
  • Studies equivalent to BI (International Baccalaureate)
  • A reasonable English Language Command
  • Motivation

With less than 12 years of study, a student can also apply if he/she is more than 23 years old with good English and work experience.

 

ADMISSION DEPARTMENT

The tests that grant admission to the Campus IVT Official Chamber of Commerce of Madrid are specifically designed to measure the level of motivation and vocation, as well as the personal profile required for the Business and Management programme. To access the programme, students must write a Personal Statement and undertake a one to one interview.
